Had my surgery with Mr Vasu Karri in October 2023 I am now 14 weeks post op from Lipoedema liposuction to lower, upper, back and fronts as well as slightly up the thigh and “banana roll” under bottom. I can honestly say this has been life changing! I believe my Lipoedema started when I was approx 14 when I went on the contraceptive pill. Slowly my legs increased in size as did my arms. I’ve had 3 children and each pregnancy this would worsen and I would feel hugely self conscious. After the birth of my 3rd son we decided no more babies and I made a huge effort to lose weight, get fitter and try and feel better again. I had an arm lift in October 2022 and was advised no lipo was needed. The results were not good and now I had a scar as well as uneven and rolls over my elbows.
I contacted Mr Karri about my legs in the summer 2023. He confirmed I had Lipoedema and told me what to expect and managed any expectations I had. At this stage I had lost 3 stone and my skin was not the best on my thighs. As an adult I’ve never worn wellies, struggled or not been able to wear knee high or ankle boots and my top half was so much smaller than my legs.
Post surgery was a bit of a shock with leaking etc, however overall I cannot complain. Mr Karri contacted me after surgery and was able to remove over 5 litres. Mr Karri also corrected my arm lift and performed liposuction and wow what a transformation!
I’m now so much more confident and when I see pictures I cannot believe the difference! I would highly recommend Mr Karri. He is so friendly and knowledgeable. The team are always helpful and happy to help any queries.
I am so pleased with Mr Karri that I’m having revision breast surgery (originally not done by him) as I feel like I’m in such safe hands with him.
